Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender 2025 presents BROWN SKIN SHOWGIRLS!
The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender 2025 presented the Harlem in Havana Project’s Brown Skin Showgirls, a dazzling celebration of legacy, liberation, and the untold stories of Black burlesque royalty! From June 5–8, 2025, artist and documentary filmmaker Leslie Cunningham joined audiences in Las Vegas for a provocative weekend of storytelling and sparkle, bringing the glamour and grit of her groundbreaking project to the stage.
Highlights included:
Sunday, June 8 – 3:30–5:00 p.m.: Brown Skin Showgirls: Exhibition Presentation — a vibrant, sensual time capsule hosted by the fabulous GiGi Holliday and featuring a sizzling live performance by the captivating Aquarius Moon. The event uplifted, educated, and set souls (and pasties) on fire!
