Based in Durham, North Carolina, Leslie is the founder and CEO of TRIBES, a boutique digital media company dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices in the arts, music, and cultural storytelling landscape. Aquarius Moon is the Marketing, Education and Event Consultant for the Harlem in Havana Project, where she is helping to shape the future of the work through Brown Skin Showgirlsโan initiative that bridges past and present with education, performance, and art talks. A visionary performance artist, cultural architect, and modern showgirl, Aquarius reclaims and reimagines the archive of Black glamour with intention, artistry, and grace. With Somali-Nigerian roots and a foundation in education and activism, she brings depth, cultural insight, and elegance to every space she enters. She is the founder of Metro Cabaret Club, a Washington, D.C.โbased production house, and OK Moves, a movement collective supporting women, LGBTQ+ communities, and performers with disabilities through embodied movement.
